Great Bear Reminds us We Can Design and Create a Better World

The power of the individual to make a difference was a constant rallying cry of Fuller. He asked us all “If success or failure of this planet and of human beings depended on how I am and what I do… HOW WOULD I BE? WHAT WOULD I DO?” This final article in a 26-part series reminds us that the world we seek is still within our reach exemplified by the Fuller Challenge winner from 2016, the Great Bear Rainforest Solutions Project.

The Fuller Challenge awarded its 2016 prize to the Rainforest Solutions Project to acknowledge efforts that pursue a “whole systems approach to understanding and intervening in complex and interrelated crises for wide-scale social and environmental impact… regionally specific yet globally applicable and… a truly comprehensive, anticipatory, integrated approach to solving the world’s complex problems.”
