Living Breakwaters Featured on Smithsonian.com

In an article titled “Oysters Could Save Staten Island From the Next Hurricane Sandy”, 2014 Fuller Challenge Winner Living Breakwaters is featured as a unique strategy that integrates storm protection and environmental restoration.

The article also notes a partnership with the Billion Oyster Project.
