“The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller” at SUNY Oswego

“The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller” will be shown at the State University of New York at Oswego on March 16th, 2016 at 7:30pm in the Hewitt Union Ballroom.

Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Sam Green presents his multi-media homage to the visionary architect, engineer and philosopher of sustainability, Buckminster Fuller. Accompanied live on stage by legendary indie band, Yo La Tengo, Green weaves video from Fuller’s extraordinary life into an engaging evening of “live cinema”.

The documentary project premiered at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and has played at creative venues and festivals from The Kitchen in New York City to the Barbican in London.

The program will be preceded by a week of interdisciplinary activities and exhibits related to Fuller’s ideas and legacy. To read more about these events, click here.

The event is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts’ Electronic Media and Film Presentation Grant Program, administered by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.
