Systems Literacy Collection on PBS LearningMedia

Recently released on PBS LearningMedia, the Systems Literacy Collection contains 13 units (interactive lessons, videos, and documents) for teaching systems literacy to grades K-12.

With support from the Kendeda Foundation, systems educator and award-winning author Linda Booth Sweeney worked with a PBS team to put together free, media-based resources to foster systems literacy. The pilot collection is targeted to students ages 5-25 and their teachers. The site has over a million registered users from 196 countries, including 74% of the public schools in the United States.

The collection demonstrates how students at all grade levels can better understand the systems in their environment and how you can use systems literacy tools to work with your students in science and in other domains.
