11th Annual Global Solutions Lab, June 21st-29th

The 11th Annual Global Solutions Lab is June 21–29, 2015, at the United Nations in New York and Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. Participants, including students and young professionals, are coming from around the world. The program is based on and inspired by the design science methodology of Buckminster Fuller. It is taught by Medard Gabel, who worked with Fuller for over a decade. Participants learn experientially by applying their learning to a real world problem. They will work collaboratively in small teams made up of people from around the world, get hands-on experience in multiple levels of design, strategic thinking and planning, as well as the presentation and documentation of their work. They will be briefed by, interact with and question UN experts. At the end the program they will make a presentation at the United Nations in New York to a panel of UN, corporate and foundation experts and executives. The Lab's website is here.
