CALL FOR PROPOSALS: 2016 Fuller Challenge

Take the Fuller Challenge! BFI seeks to award $100,000 to an innovative solution or strategy. Successful entries will integrate the Fuller Challenge criteria: visionary, comprehensive, anticipatory, ecologically responsible, feasible, verifiable, and replicable. The deadline to enter is next Tuesday, March 1st, 2016 17:00 EST. Click for more information.

2016 Fuller Challenge Fellowship Program

BFI's Fellowship Program offers an opportunity to evaluate entries to the 2016 Fuller Challenge. The program is meant to enhance rigorous discourse in the review process by bringing additional voices and perspectives into the discussion. The deadline to apply is March 12th. BFI and Kurt Przybilla Present: Explorations in the Geometry of Thinking

Join BFI at the Hammer Museum at UCLA on March 10th for a free workshop entitled "Explorations in the Geometry of Thinking", facilitated by inventor, writer, producer, and educator Kurt Przybilla. The "Leap Before You Look: Black Mountain College 1933-1957" exhibition is on display at the Hammer Museum through May 15. Click for details.

ShararaTech Challenge

The ShararaTech Challenge Call for Submissions on Water, Energy and Self-Reliance around the Mediterranean and its deserts is open for submissions until March 31st, 2016. The ShararaTech Challenge seeks tech-based artworks that represent innovative water or energy solutions for self-reliance of communities in or around the Mediterranean. Click for more information.

Unreasonable Institute Early Childhood Development Accelerator

BFI Outreach Partner Unreasonable Institute is launching a new accelerator program - the Early Childhood Development Accelerator, geared toward US-based entrepreneurs working to improve the lives of low-income children aged 0-5. The application deadline is April 1st. Click for details.
