2016 Fuller Challenge Winner Awarded at NYC Celebration

On the evening of November 16th, 2016, BFI hosted the 2016 Fuller Challenge Conferring Ceremony at the Wythe Hotel.

The evening included the release of the 2016 Fuller Challenge video by Whirlwind Creative, included below.

Guests packed the venue and represented the diversity of BFI’s broad network of supporters: architects, designers, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, educators, artists, scientists, and more.

The Winner of the 2016 Fuller Challenge – The Rainforest Solutions Project – was awarded a $100,000 check and the omnioculi prize on stage. Guests also celebrated the work of the student category winner, CHHAT, and five Finalists.

Guests enjoyed the opportunity to connect over drinks and food, and were inspired by an hour-long program of remarks, comprised of:

A Welcome Address from Elizabeth Thompson, BFI’s former Executive Director
Reflections by BFI board member Bill Browning
The conferring of the 2016 prize by BFI board chair David McConville
A presentation by the Rainforest Solutions Project team
A Q&A with the winning team facilitated by David McConville
