NYC, Built by Women

The built environment is integral to the experience of living and being in New York City. And all too often, the contribution of women to the NYC skyline is overlooked. To remedy this, the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation is now accepting applications for Built By Women, a list of 100 NYC structures and built environments designed and/or constructed by women.

Head over to WNYC for an interview with Beverly Willis, Founding Chair of the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation, and Joan Blumenfeld, Firmwide Interior Design Director at Perkins + Will, about the program and the role of women in architecture in NYC.
