Bucky in Venice, Biennale continues

Commemorating the 119th anniversary of Buckminster Fuller’s birth, OfficeUS, the US Pavilion at the ongoing Venice Biennale, hosted a series of talks and workshops on Fuller’s ideas and artifacts. Daniel Lopez-Perez spoke about “Fuller’s Artifacts, Concepts, Inventions, and the search for ‘Network Thinking’ into the present”, Joachim Krausse spoke about “Fuller’s notion of Planetarium, the Geodesic Dome… and the geometrical explorations with the Jitterbug Transformation,” and Nerea Calvillo spoke about Fuller’s legacy on contemporary practices focused on environmentalism.
