Getting to the Root of Problem Solving
The initial draft of this short essay was written with no working knowledge of Buckminster Fuller. Amazingly, I grew up with a backyard view of a large geodesic train dome in East Alton, Illinois. I also graduated with a degree in Computer Science from SIUE where Bucky was given professor emeritus status and designed the University Religious Center.
The draft was posted as a blog on the Global Sensemaking website where Robert Beckett, a long time fullerite, replied with an explanation of the similarities to Buckminster Fuller's concepts.
After reading Buckminster Fuller's article about Synergy, I added the word to the final sentence.
I'm looking forward to reading Critical Path, Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth, and watching the PBS American Master's Video Thinking Out Loud.
The abstract I have been developing for two years is posted on the Do Good Gauge website.
