In 1996 my students created 6 cardboard shelter prototypes re-utilizing cardboard boxes primarily used to wrap refrigerators, stoves, televisions, etc. If you want know more and see one dome made with cardboard, please click in shelters. I wanna know more about other experiences like that around the world. Thanks.

I read a book about paper houses from the Sebastopol library. I seem to recall the book was published in the 1970s.
From base concepts I formulated a system for rapid assembly of modular panels and illustrated my concept with 3-D raytrace software. While carboard can be plasticized to keep from melting or molding from the rain and humidity, it is not the optimal material. It's probably not even the cheapest material.
Here are pictures of what I came up with designed around fiberglass reinforced resins. They can be fabricated as single-walled or double walled (with or without insulation lining), tinted any color or translucent or transparent (gor greenhouses).
I am reserving the connector hardware concepts for potential as fundraising to support other worthwhile activities, so please, no arguments that I didn't show all or enough. I think creative people can figure many joining solutions without detailed help from anyone.
