In the spirit of the first page of my Inventory of World Resources (acquisition date 28 May 1964): "....to render the total chemical and energy resources of the world, which are now exclusively preoccupied in serving only 44% of humanity, adequate to the service of 100% of humanity at higher standards of living and total enjoyment than any man has yet expereinced.", I offer my take in relation to energy at my blogsite

Critical Path, page 223, says World Game demonstrates that 60% of jobs don't produce real wealth.
Can someone tell me how that was demonstrated, what data were used, and whether any more recent estimates of unproductive jobs have been made?

Is any other passenger on this Spaceship we call 'Earth' aware of any project(s) to develop the dome / windmill he invented? As director of an engineering / technology endeavor, I would like to share thoughts. Sulu; are you on the bridge?

In the '60's, while studying Design and attending Dr. Fuller's classes and lectures; his ideas made great sense - to the extent I could 'keep up' with his brilliance. Today, having worked at a major Aerospace company and spoken with an ISS astronaut about our Spaceship Earth, the Manual is still perfectly relevant.
Are there gatherings where I can share my experiences and views with like souls? Are copied of his recorded lectures available today?

Not knowing exactly what "Design Science" is, I contend Bucky's Floating Breakwater - U.S. PATENT - 4,136,994 - has more potential NOW than it did in 1977. Is anyone prepared to produced one of these things? We have a location on Narragansett Bay in Providence, RI, that could definitely benefit from the installation of this technology. Please visit us at www.savebay.org to find out more. Very truly to yours, Michael Russo, Save the Bay Facilites Manager

Buy a bank, not just a car.
Buy a solar bank.
Rothschild Motors provides the most satisfying, economic and intelligent solutions for your motoring and energy requirements.
With your investment in each Rothschild Edition automobile you'll also own a renewable energy (RE) system to power your car and home.
In addition, you'll own a solar bank that provides interest-free credit for you and others to purchase RE products manufactured in the USA by partners of Rothschild Motors.

I am sleeping on the same schedule that Bucky used for 2 years and called the dymaxion sleep. It involves sleeping for 30 minutes every 6 hours for a total of 2 hours sleep a day.
Members here may be interested in my blog. I am blogging my experience with this sleep pattern at:

Dear BFI,
I had the opportunity recently to change a proposal being put forward to the Green Party of New Jersey that would have had fluorescent bulbs. These types of bulbs while being energy saving in comparison to incandescent are not the solution. This is another case of seemingly doing good when superior developments are on the way. Please see my suggestion to look into LED lights below. I do not think Bucky would have been satisfied with fluorescent at this point.
Thank you,
George

I have become increasingly convinced by reading Buckminster Fuller that a comprehensive political program could very easily be developed out of his work. I have also become acquainted with the Technocracy movement as a result of reading Fuller. I joined the Green Party because I believe that the Green movement is most likely to be most responsive to Fuller's ideas, although Fuller himself was sceptical of political parties. I have two questions.
