Who owns Fuller's patents?

Are Fuller's patents owned by his estate? Is permission needed to utilise his designs or are they in the public domain since his death?

I think they are all in the public domain. The Estate only owns his original works from what I remember. This page has links to the us patent office. You can find the original drawings, etc. there and they should explain whose domain the patents fall into...
