Support Us
Since our founding in 1983, BFI has greatly relied on the financial support of our network to run and maintain much of our programming and cover general operating costs. It is the network of members like yourself that have and continue to make BFI a reality.
In 2007 BFI received a grant to administer The Buckminster Fuller Challenge Prize for 5 years. This principal grant only covers the $100,000 prize and basic cost of administering the program. It is insufficient in covering all of the other great BFI programming such as: The Idea Index, a searchable repository containing entries to the challenge; The Challenge Fellowship, a program designed to engage outstanding and motivated graduate students in the review and analysis of the Challenge entries, and all of the other great BFI programs and resources we offer, including this website.
To fully fund this work we need your support, today!
We invite you to further explore our website and spread the word about the urgency of our work and to give as generously as you can. All contributions, no matter the size are greatly appreciated and make a valuable impact in helping us fulfill our mission to further Fuller’s comprehensive design strategies within mainstream thinking and make the world work for 100% of humanity.
The Buckminster Fuller Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
